Hey Royal, what's good?
Your girl is a fiancée 🤭🤭🤭
Well, it's no news that I am a lover girl and some people know that I've crossed the “girlfriend” phase for a while now BUT with a ring on my finger, you now know and you can call me YBoC’s fiancée.
While I was at the Purple Room, my friend, Erhime (RIP) took this picture of me that got people congratulating me.
I had a good laugh because the ring that caused the ruckus was part of a set I had gotten off Wish before they stopped operating in Nigerian.
Shortly after I received the order from Lord-knows-where it was shipped from, I took this photo that caused some of my friends to swear not to believe me again but they still love me.
I have good looking hands and I've always wanted to be a hand model. I also love to wear rings and really wanted ‘the ring’ but I didn't want a 'traditional' proposal.
I wanted something different.

I used to think it was annoying to have people (strangers) screaming "say yes!" at a proposal until I was called by my friend to host an intimate birthday celebration/proposal event.
When my friend went on his knees and the ring came out, I tried to shush the people who started screaming that the lady say yes but to my shock, she looked me in the eye and said "should I say no?".
Woww! No, darling, I don't want you to say no at all.
In that moment, I realized that we all want different things.
So, to avoid stories that touch, I have always made it clear that I wouldn't like to see any other person around whenever I'm being asked the BIG question.
As much as I love France and enjoy watching proposal videos from the Eiffel Tower. I never imagined that for myself.
I've always wanted it to be just my partner and I and a photographer that's completely out of sight (if possible). I mean, just ask your question and let's know what next.
Another thing I never fancied about proposals is how a “NO” response signifies the 'end'. I understand that the expected response is a YES but what if it's initially a no?
Why not?
I think proposals should give room for the recipient of the ring to have some introspection before blurting out "YES!" in excitement or because of the screaming audience. But hey, that's just a thought I've always had.
I also planned to say no thrice before saying yes when the time came, and that's exactly what I did before getting this. And, he indulged me.
Honestly, I thought that if I got engaged, I'd act like nothing happened, tell a few friends, and keep it to myself. Lol! I thought wrongly.
‘Cause the next minute, I was in people's DMs like “see 🤭🤭🤭”.
And, the reactions that followed made it worth it.
It was so good that I even ignored the eighteen people who chose not to congratulate me. And, yes, I know cause I took note of them.
After I shared the photo above on my status, I received questions like how did it happen and where's the video?
Well, I can summarize how it happened but there's no video of it happening, except a clip of me laughing hysterically when I figured out what was about to happen.
This is crazy to admit but I chew my nails all the time despite trying to grow them over and over again, this time, I had chewed them all off.
But, I'm grateful that YBoC waited till I had made my nails before getting down on bended knees.
Recalling the image of him on his knee with the ring case in his hands is still making me laugh.
Was I surprised?
Not exactly, we're already at a stage of our lives where not getting the ring at all would have been more surprising.
Rachael said it's due to see finish and Best said I have bad character. I agree with both of them because I said yes before the ring came and my bare fingers never made our relationship invalid.
But, seeing that gorgeousness shine in it's box filled me with so much joy and laughter, and as he put it on my finger, I realized again that there's no one else I'd rather be with.
On that note, we have a wedding to plan or how is it said?
Till the next chronicle,
Stay Royal!
